MVBC KIDS

Our Nursery Team cares for our youngest kids, ages birth - 2 years.
We provide a snack, cuddles, sing songs and play to make this time away from parents safe and enjoyable.  Kids are grouped by movement ability, with our walkers and movers having a larger area just for them!
This is offered at 9:00 and 10:30am

Our Preschool area is for kids ages 2 - 4.  We follow a Sunday School and worship model.  Our preschool area is designed to be bright, fun, and engaging for kids!  Your little one will receive sound, gospel-driven instruction at their age level.

Our Elementary area is for kids grades K - 5.  We follow a Sunday School and worship model.  Our area is designed to be open, welcoming, and foster an atmosphere of relationship building. Your kid will engage in a solid biblical lesson and will be taught how it applies to their lives as well.  We have large group worship and small group discussion time.

Our Welcome Team is our first point of contact for all families and children.We will familiarize you with our software to help families check in, and get first-time guests registered.  Our 10:30 Team also works to help any kids checking out after the first service.  All you need is a friendly face and a smile!

Our Facilitators are the backbone of our Sunday School hour. They ensure that our leaders have everything they need, checking in on Sunday morning before class begins.  For Preschool, the facilitator helps with restroom breaks and snacks so the lesson can flow uninterrupted.  Both Preschool and Elementary facilitators take attendance for their area as well.  A Facilitator is someone who is organized, and loves taking care of others!  We rely on them to help show appreciation to our fantastic Sunday School teachers!

Our Sunday School teachers do an amazing job of bringing the Bible to life for our kids. Each class has at least one lead teacher and an assistant.  They receive all the materials provided through the curriculum to teach a fun and challenging lesson to their age group, which includes crafts, multimedia story presentation, scripture memorization, and more!  Our Sunday School teachers typically commit to a year of weekly service, to keep continuity with the lessons and build relationships with the kids.  Our assistant positions vary in terms of bi-weekly or bi-monthly.

Our Bible Teachers work to bring the day's story to life, and make it applicable to kids.  We provide all of the lesson materials and plans ahead of time!

Our Worship Leader gets kids up and moving!  They use motions and songs to help our kids worship their amazing God!  In Elementary, we invite the kids to lead as well, through our MTN MVRS program!  We meet on Sunday nights to practice, and are taking our love of worship out into our community twice a year as well.

Technology is a part of our worship hour as well!
Using A/V equipment, we have songs, videos, lights...you name it!  Our programs are intuitive and easy to learn.

Twice a month, we need materials returned and organized in our resource room and prop room.  These are available for our Sunday School teachers, Worship Leaders, and Bible story teachers to use for additional materials they may need, props, or decor!  We have these areas stocked, organized, and labeled, and our leaders return what they used to a resource cart.  
Our mid-week volunteers put away any materials that have been returned, and check to see if anything needs to be shifted or reorganized!
About once a month, our curriculum changes themes for our 10:30 services in both Preschool and Elementary.  Someone who is creative, and willing to help decorate for those would be an amazing plus!  Yet another way to get involved mid-week!
